A Beach Haus Brewery Wedding was exactly what I needed this past fall! Meg and Dave held their super awesome wedding at this adorable brewery in Belmar, NJ. Here are some words by our bride, Meg. Enjoy!!
When planning your wedding, what were you most looking forward to? We rented a big AirBnB for our bridal party for the entire weekend, so we were really looking forward to getting to just hang out and celebrate! Also, Meg’s mom made her dress and Dave definitely had NO IDEA what to expect (especially since it was way more pink than white). So we were both looking forward to the big reveal.
What were some of your favorite moments from your wedding day? Ugh, there were so many. Obviously our first look and the entire ceremony, even when Dave messed up and stole Meg’s line during the rings. But we were both really looking forward to having a party to remember so some favorites were definitely anytime Lizzo played and when everyone rocked it out to Mr. Brightside. Really just getting to see our family and friends (who we really don’t get to see all the time because everyone lives all over the country) having fun was the highlight.
If you could do it all again, would you change anything? We’d eat more apps at the cocktail hour! Our food was so good but we were both too jittery all night to be hungry.
Any advice for future couples planning their weddings? It’s cliche but just try not to stress out, at the end of the day all that matters is that you found your perfect person and you get to spend your lives together. Also try to slow down and take time to eat the apps.
Is there anything else you would like to add? We decided from the very beginning that the one thing we definitely wanted to make sure we got right for our wedding was the photographer, cause after the day is over the pictures are what you get to look back on forever. When we look at our pictures we feel like we’re back on the dance floor and we get to re-live every emotion of the day. We couldn’t be happier.
