Pet Portraits

Celebrating the bond you share.

A thoughtful,
unrushed experience

Pet sessions are designed around patience, curiosity, and connection. Whether your pet is energetic, reserved, young, or aging, the pace is guided by them—not a clock.

The goal isn’t perfect behavior, but honest presence. The result is imagery that feels true to who they are and meaningful to live with long after the session.

A simple, guided process

1

Thoughtful planning

We start by talking about your pet—personality, energy level, and what matters most to you. From location and timing to artwork goals, the session is planned to keep things comfortable and unhurried.

2

A patient, guided session

Sessions move at your pet’s pace. You’ll be gently guided throughout while we allow space for natural behavior and expression to come through. Nothing is rushed, and nothing is forced.

3

Finished Artwork

After the session, we’ll review the images together and select the portraits that best capture your pet as you know them. Each final piece is thoughtfully finished and created to be enjoyed as artwork in your home.

Let’s create something that honors them

You don’t need to know exactly what you want yet. We’ll help you plan a session that feels comfortable for your pet and intentional for you.

Danette Pascarella is a pet photographer based in Clinton, NJ creating natural, personality-driven portraits for dogs, cats, and the people who love them. Sessions take place in the studio or on location throughout Hunterdon County and surrounding areas, allowing space for movement, expression, and genuine connection. Whether photographed individually or alongside their owners, each session is designed to feel relaxed and thoughtful.

If you’re also exploring family portraits or equine photography, you can learn more about those experiences throughout the site.
