Only 18 Summers—How Many Do You Have Left?

When you think about childhood, it’s easy to believe the moments will keep coming. There will always be another summer, another lazy afternoon, another backyard adventure. But here’s the truth that catches so many of us off guard:

You only get 18 summers with your kids.
And we’re already halfway through this one.

I recently photographed the Passerini family in their backyard. Nothing too fancy—just real moments of their everyday life. The kids ran barefoot in the grass, swung high on the swing set, and giggled with their doggies and their chickens (yes, chickens!). We also created beautiful, natural family portraits outdoors.  A little bit of everything captured in just a couple of hours.

It was relaxed. Real. Full of funzies!

That’s what summer family photos can be—more than a posed portrait. A celebration of the messy, beautiful, fleeting moments that make up your life right now.

If you’ve been meaning to book a session, this is your sign. August sessions are open now, just before school starts again. Whether we meet at your home or explore a favorite park or field, I’ll help you freeze time in the best way possible.

Because one day, when your kids are grown, you’ll be so glad you didn’t wait.

Future you thanks you!
