Asbury Park Wedding: Lindsey & Troy

Another amazing couple, another great day! I’m so very grateful to be able to photograph weddings and meet some pretty awesome people in the process. Lindsey and Troy are no exception. From our first meeting I immediately liked them. A lot. If you know them you know what I am talking about. The energy they bring is obvious and they have this way of making you feel good and welcome.

They married where they first met: at Anchor’s Bend on the beach at Asbury Park, NJ. The waves crashed all around as the tide moved in, and I think it was simply nature’s way of wanting to be there and share this milestone with them. (I’m cheesy, so what!?) 🙂 We all then walked to Porta Pizza for the food and dance party reception.

Here are some thoughts by our lovely bride:

  • When planning your wedding, what were you most looking forward to? Troy and I both wrote our own personal vows to each other. We couldn’t wait to share them with one another.
  • What were some of your favorite moments from your wedding day? Gosh. The whole entire day was pretty much our favorite. Every part of the day held special moments. Greeting our guests together at our cocktail hour was a blast! It was incredible to watch our guests arrive at the exact location where we met. We couldn’t have imagined the ceremony to be any more perfect then it was. Exchanging our vows. The humor, love and wisdom Harris brought and the waves literally crashing inches from our feet. It was perfection. To have all of the people we love together, dancing carefree, eating pizza and pasta will be a feeling that stays with us forever. That room was filled with much love. And lastly- Watching Aubrey take center stage and speak so eloquently and fierce-fully was one of the proudest moments of our lives. We hung on her every word and will always cherish all the love that poured out of her that day.
  • If you could do it all again, would you change anything? Nope!
  • Any advice for future couples planning their weddings? Do not overthink it. Pick all the things you love as a couple and bring them to life. If you put everything you LOVE in a room it will be as perfect as you have imagined.
  • Is there anything else you would like to add? Thank you to each and every person who shared this chapter of our journey with us. Thank you for the guidance, love and all the support we have been showered with. We are truly thankful for each of you.

There are a lot of photos here because I really want you to enjoy their wedding story and feel all the goodness I saw that day…. 🙂
