A Pet Photography Session for Zoe | Mini Poodle at Home in Clinton, NJ

Celebrating Zoe
Clinton, NJ Pet Photography Session

When Marilyn reached out to me, she had one wish—to create beautiful portraits of her beloved dog Zoe before her illness progressed. Zoe, a sweet and spunky 11-year-old Mini Poodle, had recently been diagnosed with cancer, and it was important to Marilyn to capture this time together.

We kept everything simple and personal by doing the session right at their home. It’s the place where Zoe feels most like herself—where she watches the world go by from the window, and where she walks the wooded trails behind the house with Marilyn.

The bond between them is so strong, it really shows!! Zoe is treated like the queen she is.

Zoe was pampered for the occasion (as she should be!). Hair and makeup for Marilyn was done by Mallory and Bella from Beauty on Main, and everything came together quickly and naturally—just like this love story.

Photographing Zoe was an honor. She’s gentle, expressive, and full of heart. And Marilyn’s love for her was present in every quiet moment and every little look they shared.

These portraits are more than pictures—they’re a way to hold on to the essence of a dog who is deeply loved. I am so happy I was able to do this for them!
