Clinton, NJ Engagement Session: Jeanette & Mitchell

Last week I met up with Jeanette and Mitchell for their pre-wedding portrait session. This was take three, as the first two times we were supposed to do this it was either cold or rainy or a combination of both!  It’s good we waited until the perfect day, as this day was absolutely gorgeous and perfect, just like them. 🙂  They have been together for over 18 years, and have finally decided it’s time to marry, which is happening next month in NYC.

We started out at Round Valley State Park in beautiful Hunterdon County, NJ (also 5 minutes from where I live, woo!). This park is extra special to them as it was a place where they used to visit when they first started falling in love. We even found the log huge tree that fell down where they used to sit and enjoy each other and the view.  Afterwards, we went for a walk in nearby Clinton, a town that was the backdrop to their budding romance.

I had a great time with them! These are my people and I felt like I’ve known them for years.  Enjoy my favorites from our day…
