An Intimate Philly Wedding: Katie & Carlo

Not only do I love shooting weddings, but I love shooting weddings where I am already friends with the bride and groom. I’ve known Carlo since our days at Millersville University where we both studied biology, and then we both eventually worked at the same company using those biology degrees. Katie and I met shortly after she started dating Carlo years ago, and I instantly loved her.  Fast forward many years and we are all still friends and play bocce together every Monday from April to November.  : )

Katie and Carlo had one gorgeous day to get married….I can say that because 40 and sunny this winter is considered balmy and gorgeous! They had an intimate candlelit ceremony in the chapel at the First United Methodist Church of Germantown, followed by a family style dinner reception at The Mildred in Bella Vista.

It was an honor to photograph my friends getting married!  Enjoy this preview.
