Weddings at the Philadelphia Horticultural Center are simply perfection, so when Olya Vysotskaya asked me to second shoot for her there I was naturally excited to work with her in an amazing space as it’s one of my favorite places to shoot. This wedding was even more organic than the space where it was held. We started out the day with a walk around Old City with our bride and groom and from there we all headed to the Horticultural Center where I witnessed one of the most natural and organic weddings I’ve ever shot. This wedding was intimate indeed, and there were plenty of Jewish traditions that were new to me, including the Havdala moments before our bride walked down the aisle, which was very intimate and even at times chilling. A band lead the guests from the Havdala into the ceremony space and then again back into the reception room where the festive dancing immediately commenced. I can go on and on about how lovely and totally fun this wedding was, but I will let the photos speak for themselves. I loved having the privilege of documenting this day.
