When David approached me about having photos take of him and his son, I of course was more than happy to do the job. We scheduled the session, but it got changed, and it wasn’t until last Saturday that I realized I was shooting David and his son Dylan (3.5 years old) on Father’s Day. I felt that this needed to be something even more special than if I shot them on a different day. I knew I had a job to do, and I did my best to capture these two sweetiepies on such an important day. We started with breakfast at a coffee shop in West Philly, where Dylan was a bit “shy”, but it didn’t take him very long to warm up to me! We then went to the Smith Playground in Fairmount Park where the boys explored this awesomeness of a play land, played hide-and-seek and just did whatever they fancied. (I can’t believe I’ve never been to this place before!) Dylan wanted to ride the old wooden slide again, and again, and again, and… : ) And that they did! They wrapped the day up with snacks and monkeying around, and I do believe I will never hear the words “Cheddar Bunnies” again without thinking of these two!
