Beaver Brook Country Club Wedding: Lindsey & Cassidy

Remember Lindsey and Cassidy? The most adorable couple? I met them last year for many cups of coffee, and then again for their engagement session. I couldn’t wait to photograph their wedding, because I just knew the energy these two bring wherever they are would mean their wedding would kick ass. And it did. Beaver Brook Country Club in Annandale, New Jersey was the venue they chose for their ~~epic dance party~~ reception, which was proceeded by their ceremony at St. Luke’s in Long Valley.

Here are some thoughts from our couple:

When planning your wedding, what were you most looking forward to?

Lindsey: Walking down the aisle.

Cassidy: Seeing Lindsey walk down the aisle.

What were some of your favorite moments from your wedding day?

Lindsey: Some of my favorite moments were the nervous “hahas” while getting ready with my bridesmaids. Our first limo ride ever, but as husband and wife and our bridal party all in there with every sharp turn on the back country roads (there were no seatbelts in there!). All of the speeches and nice words people had. Watching all our extended family together having a great time celebrating our big day!

Cassidy: Seeing both of our families together in one place to share our special moment was amazing. It was even more fun seeing them on the dance floor!

Any advice for future couples planning their weddings?

Lindsey: Laugh at the small stuff but especially laugh at the big stuff! Remember this is supposed to be fun and does not need to be so stressful! Things will go wrong and it makes for a great story!

Cassidy: Really be on top of your bridal party. If they’re anything like my friends, things will be forgotten the day of the wedding. Keep them in check and make sure there’s someone who can run errands for you the morning of the wedding.

Congratulations to Lindsey and Cassidy! It was such a great experience for me getting to know these two kind souls. I really enjoyed spending the day with their colorful family and friends! What a great group of people in their lives.
